Make Tuesdays Into Cubesdays

Makes Tuesdays Into Cubesdays

As geeks, we all have insanely sweet cubicles, and if you don’t… well, you’re not really a geek then, are you? My cubicle has an array of silly decor, including these Halo 3 Kubricks that engage in epic battles all over my desk, giving real geeks everywhere heart attacks because I play with these sold-out collectors items.

But enough about my sweet cube, let’s hear about YOURS.

Every Tuesday (Cubesday), Geekadelphia will be featuring one sweet, pimped out cubicle. We’re encouraging our readers to send us photos of their sweet workspaces. Show us what you’ve got! We’ll post pictures of your cube, some info about you, links to your respective blog (if you want)… all that good stuff.

Send all entries over to us at Geekadelphia@gmail.com. We’ll be waiting!

Drinking in the Rain, Just Drinking in the Rain

Brigg Umbrella - Flash Hidden Within

European designers Swaine Adeney have introduced their latest in their gentleman’s Brigg umbrella line, The Malacca Flask Umbrella, with features a Tulip wood shaft, silver or gold plated collar, hand woven English silk canopy… and a fitted, screwed in glass drinking flask concealed within.

It’ll run your pockets nearly $900 in American coinage, but right now, that’s not my biggest concern. How do we get Philadelphia’s Dutch Umbrella program in on this, where free loaner umbrellas are distributed through out the Fairmount area? It’d be the perfect combination, keeping chilly Philadelphians a little warm in the winter rain.

Best of all, Dutch Umbrellas have little tracking devices on them, in case they go wandering off too far. Which is good, especially when there is free alcohol involved. With this innovation, expect to find flasked Dutch Umbrellas stacked up by brodudes outside Fado.

Philadelphia Loves You, Santa… Not So Much

Philadelphia Loves You, Santa… Not So Much

The Urban Outfitters here in Philadelphia is offering up one sweet awesome angry shirt. Featuring Santa flippin’ the bird, well… there isn’t much to say about this t-shirt. CBS3 begs to differ. We just prefer to laugh.

Personally, I’m all about the drunk Santa Christmas cards.
