l33t Eye Chart Doubles as l33t Tshirt

leet-eyes.jpg

This is teh l33t haxorz. Made up of fairly popular online acronyms, this eye chart does not promise an accurate measurement of one’s vision. In its true form, it makes for an awesome and totally ridiculous garment. Plus it’s printed on black, and that means you can wear it anywhere!

The shirt is $20 (the price you pay to show off your knowledge of online acronyms) at Off World Designs. They also have a “Guitar Halo” shirt that I can totally see Eric wearing to a date.

Geeky Valentines: Happy, Naughty, & Mean

Oh BS Angel, we here at Geekadelphia can’t get enough of you. If you’re a gamer, we highly recommend checking out her blog, Hawty McBloggy. We don’t recommend playing her in Halo III though. She’ll destroy you and probably leave you crying.

For Valentine’s Day, she’s made up a collection of naughty, mean, and sweet Valentines with video game themes. Take a look and print one out for your sweetheart.

Cup Holds Soft Drink & Nuggets: Promotes Obesity

Cup Holds Soft Drink & Nuggets: Promotes Obesity

Look closely. The straw isn’t actually dipping into the nuggets. It enters a chamber below, that holds your tasty, non-chicken flavored (unless you’re into that sort of thing) beverage. It’s called the Col-Pop, and I kinda want one. Can we get Crown Fried Chicken over on 10th and Arch on this thing?

It’s from the minds of BBQ Chicken, a Korean fast food chain, which you can find right next door in New Jersey and New York.

Continuing our total geek out over the upcoming Star Wars exhibit at the Franklin Institute, here’s another piece of delicious Star Wars geekitry from the interweb.

Topless Robot posted their list of 10 Star Wars Toys That Unintentionally Look Like Celebrities, and man, it is spot on. Zach Braff warmed our hearts in Garden State, and now makes us LOL as Han Solo. Other notable mentions include the Robert Deniro and John Kerry lookalikes. Check ‘em out.

LOLcat Found on Philly.com

LOLcat Found on Philly.com

A LOLcat has been located on Philly.com, in an article on Elmer Smith.

Actually, we’re not sure what the article is about. It could be on Elmer’s Glue for all we know. We were just interested in the funny picture. Look at that kitty, just waiting to be captioned.

Have any good caption ideas? Let us know!

Rejected Star Wars Toys

Rejected Star Wars Toys

McMorran posted up some Star Wars toys that never quite made it. Which is unfortunate, because as a child, I always wanted to reenact the moisture farm massacre. Who didn’t?

However please note, the smoldering corpses of Uncle Owen & Aunt Beru are sold separately.

Other toys that didn’t make it? Try Ben Franklin in Star Wars… no seriously, there’s a whole web page dedicated to putting Ben Franklin inside Star Wars movies. WTF.
