Behold, the first bacon based lollipop, made with a combination of organic, cured bacon and Vermont maple syrup. A dozen of these delicious looking candies will run you $24. Definitely worth every penny, especially when you hand them out on Halloween.
Eric:Hah! Tim, how about this headline, “Darth Vader Cookie: Now Without The James Earl Jones Aftertaste” Tim: … Eric: What? You don’t like it? Tim: … you know what James Earl Jones tastes like?
Introducing a gun you can carry into the Reading Terminal Market, or even possibly purchase there without a license. A spice gun. The designer says that…
The spice gun is different from the other casters, it has more fun! When you pull the trigger to compress the air in the air bag, the handspike will push the bottom of the seasoning bottle to make the nozzle in the turntable to retract and spray the seasoning.
I hope it comes with other canisters. Salt, pepper, sugar… yeah, that’s all stuff I put in my coffee, but I’d still like something more. Cinnamon maybe?
Check out these tasty looking LOVE cookies by Zoe Lukas. I actually held one of these in my hand a few days ago, but couldn’t bring myself to eat it. It was huge, looked really yummy, but was just too pretty. Not sure who got to nibble on this glorious creation, but whoever it was, I am supremely jealous, and I bet it tasted just as good as it looked.
This past weekend, Tim and I were invited up to Pod in University City for dinner with several writers from Crunchgear, Jaunted, and We Jet Set. Good times were had talking about Star Wars, geeky gear, and blogging. You can see some of them towards the end of the video. What’s up guys!
We decided that the trip up to University City from Tim’s place in Old City might make for an entertaining video, especially while riding Philly’s subway. And we were right. Pod is also a design geek’s dream. Cool furniture and some seriously amazing lighting.
Enjoy the interesting characters and hilarity along the way. You might want to adjust your volume here and there. Afterall, I am working with a $80 camcorder I bought at an electronics shop in Market East.
Look closely. The straw isn’t actually dipping into the nuggets. It enters a chamber below, that holds your tasty, non-chicken flavored (unless you’re into that sort of thing) beverage. It’s called the Col-Pop, and I kinda want one. Can we get Crown Fried Chicken over on 10th and Arch on this thing?
It’s from the minds of BBQ Chicken, a Korean fast food chain, which you can find right next door in New Jersey and New York.
Side view of the cup after the jump, which shows off the chambers.
She’s worked at a lot of bakeries here in Philly, including the delectable Pink Rose Pastry Shop, which sits a few blocks from my house, and Brown Betty, a great place famed for their delicious cupcakes.
Okay, seriously Naomi, you need to move to Philadelphia. Right now. Australia won’t love you as much as we will.
Last time I mentioned Naomi’s delicious cupcakes on here, she had done up some fantastic Pacman cupcakes that sent my tummy rumbling. Once again, Neatorama has provided some glorious linkage to Naomi’s amazing creations, and they are just as amazing as the last batch she whipped up.
Check out her Flickr photostream for even more tastiness. Best part about these robots? No fear of an uprising. Just eat ‘em up. You win.
