Paper Link OWNS Paper Mario: Legend of Zelda Papercraft

Paper Link OWNS Paper Mario: Legend of Zelda Papercraft

When I came across this adorable Papercraft Link in Kamikaze Stoat’s Flickr stream, I fell in love, and absolutely had to look further into this little hand folded hero.

Luckily, Kamikaze provided a link to gaming website Silconera, who happen to have the papercraft templates, ready for you to print out and fold yourself.

Download the templates here, and make your own papercraft Link, to display proudly in your cubicle.

A couple more photos of the papercraft Link after the jump. Enjoy!

Mario Prints on Vintage Book Pages

Mario Prints on Vintage Book Pages

Sprite Stitch, one of my favorite (and I think the only) blog dedicated towards video game themed crafts, posted about these fantastic Mario Prints, which Etsy seller Cyberhadji creates using vintage book pages.

The prints are 8x10s, and will run you from $8 to $30 (they come single and in three packs).

I am definitely sold on quite a few of these.

Super Mario Galaxy Luma Plushie: Melts My Icy Heart

Seriously, these little guys are absolutely precious. And Drunken Penguin, the brilliant Etsy creator who makes these plushies, will make custom-made Lumas for you. Size, color, whatever. Awesome.

I’ve been playing a whole lot of Super Mario Galaxy lately, and I’ve come to adore the little Lumas in the video game, feeding them star bits whenever I can.

Haven’t played Super Mario Galaxy? Read up on Lumas on MarioWiki.

Dig Dug Pillows: Adorable, Non-Explodable

Dig Dug Pillows: Adorable, Non-Explodable

Crafter Manic Maiden, who might very well be the coolest older sister ever, made some adorable Dig Dug themed pillows for her brother as a birthday present.

Here’s hoping he isn’t a big gamer and puts them up for sale on eBay. Cause seriously, I want ‘em.

Beautiful Pixel Art at Philly’s Craft Bazaar: Jude & Amy Buffum

This past weekend, I found myself wandering around Philadelphia’s Art Star Craft Bazaar, looking for gifts for family, friends, Tim, and my girlfriend. The Bazaar was full of wonderful crafts, all kinds of handmade goodness. Shirts, stuffed animals, screenprints, and, most importantly, Jude and Amy Buffum’s beautiful pixel art.As you can see in the video above, Jude creates some seriously gorgeous works of pixel inspired art. And they aren’t just limited to prints. He works with Amy on a line of toys called Bitz, which are Space Invader inspired plushes.

I couldn’t resist when I saw them, and picked one up for myself. More images after the jump of their fantastic artwork. Can’t wait to see these two more often.

Check out some more photos after the jump.

Keeping Warm: Gamers Quilts

Keeping Warm: Gamers Quilts

Stephanie Price makes some amazing quilts, and with Philly’s weather getting progressively colder, well, I’m about to give her a call. Maybe commission something. Master Chief posing with the Liberty Bell? Solid Snake sneaking around Fairmount?

Another sweet Final Fantasy 1 themed quilt after the jump. Check out Stephanie’s blog at Chasing Threads.

GeekArt: Nintendo Collages, Now Cubicle Wall Size

Nintendo Collages: Now Cubicle Wall Size

We were really excited when we saw Chris Lange’s massive cubicle collages, so much that we wanted them as murals here in Philadelphia.

I think Chris heard the pleas of the thousands that flocked to his collage site, and has made the prints available for $20 on his Etsy. They’re sold out now, but I’m sure he’ll restock them.

Pick some up for the cubicle for Cubesday!
