Puddle Blog: Content Runs Dry Come The Summer

Puddle Blog: Content Runs Dry Come The Summer

“You know, that puddle should have its own blog” – Puddleblog.

Some silly Brooklyn dwellers in New York City have set up a blog for… you guessed it, a puddle. As ridiculous as it is, I can’t help but flick through the pictures. It “chronicles the epic journey of one puddle, bracing for an uncertain future.” Take a look and have a laugh.

Blogging: How Geekadelphia Stays in Shape

Blogging: How Geekadelphia Stays in Shape

Blogging. The new way to lose weight.

At least, Jonathan Fields thinks so.

Fields has written up an article detailing how he burns 600 calories a day while blogging. This explains why the people over at Phillyist are such good lookin’ folks. Tim and I adhere to a similar schedule, only instead of running on a treadmill while writing, we eat Five Guys burgers and fries while writing. It’s basically the same thing.

Read up on his methods on his official website.

Welcome To The Blogroll: Halo 3 Screenshots

Every once and a while, I come across a new website that makes me kick myself in the ass for not thinking of it first. Halo 3 Screenshots… yeah, definitely one of them. It’s a blog that collects… well, screenshots from Halo 3.

Welcome To The Blogroll: Halo 3 Screenshots

Need More Fail? Try Out Faildogs!

Failblogs are popping up all over the place. There’s The Fail Blog, Shipment of Fail, Doing It Wrong, and so on. Soon, Philadelphia will have its own, I’m sure.

My new favorite fail blog, has got to be Fail Dogs. The title speaks for itself. Go have a laugh.

Mouldable Mouse: Philly Bloggers Rejoice

Mouldable Mouse: Philly Bloggers Rejoice

I know a few people who work with weird shaped mice (I’m looking at you, Brennen), and this mouse will bring tears of joy to their eyes.

Lite-On Technology has invented an amazing mouse, made out of lightweight, mouldable clay that’s covered with nylon and plastic fabrics. You can squeeze and squish the mouse into whatever shape you want, until it fits your hand comfortably. Amazing.

It won a Red Dot Design Award, so hopefully we’ll see this cool toy in stores soon.

Best New Blog… Ever: Fail Blog

I’m in tears from laughter over this amazing new blog. The Fail Blog.

The premise is simple. A collection of various FAIL! images. If you’ve ever been on a message board, you know what these are. FAIL is the new pWn3d.

Enjoy.

Blog Counter: Uses A Real Bell

Blog Bell

Alex over at Tinkerlog’s latest contraption, is a Christmas bell that rings every time your blog gets a hit. It consists of an Arduino board, a servo, and a couple of lines of code in c, python and php. I don’t know what any of those things are, but I do know what a bell is.

Tim put one of these together for Geekadelphia and so far, we’ve got two rings. All together. This entire week. We were also arrested for putting the mod on the Liberty Bell.

Check out another photo after the jump, and visit Alex’s site for some in depth instructions.
