Ben Franklin

Money Celebrities: Benjamin Franklin Leto

Recently Freaking News had a Photoshop contest involving money and celebrities. Our hometown hero, Benjamin Franklin, was featured, combined with the ever so dreamy Jared Leto.
He’s also mixed in with Ben Stiller and Josh Duhamel
Take a look, a lot of these are fantastically well done.

Ben Franklin in Star Wars

“Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope.”
- Ben Franklin, London 1745
While fiddling around on Google, I stumbled across Joe Dator’s website, a comic artist from NY. His photoshopped images of Ben Franklin starring in all the episodes (minus III) of Star Wars are simply amazing.
Some of the photo shopping jobs are brilliantly well done, [...]

Abe Lincoln: Zombie Hunter

Uncrate is featuring an awesome Abe Lincoln Zombie Hunter t-shirt, which I ordered just before writing this post.
Here’s hoping someone makes a good Ben Franklin version. All we’ve been able to find is a zombie Ben Franklin, on a hundred dollar bill.

However please note, the smoldering corpses of Uncle Owen & Aunt Beru are sold separately.
Other toys that didn’t make it? Try Ben Franklin in Star Wars… [...]

Baroque Wars

Baroque Wars, drawn by Swedish illustrator Mattias Adolfsson, features several Star Wars characters that basically answers the timeless question, what would you get if you combined Star Wars and Ben Franklin?
This.

Ben Franklin, With Karate Chop Action!

Well, not really, but that would have been sweet. Only the Thomas Edison figure comes equipped with the karate chop action, and he uses that on the Nikola Tesla figure. Edison FTW!
You can score this sweet action figure, made by Accoutrements, in stores through out Philadelphia, at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and via Powells’ [...]
