This Just In: Christian Bale & Kermit The Frog Are The Same Person / Frog

Hollywood was stunned today when they learned that Christian Bale & Kermit The Frog were, in fact, one and the same. The world of cinema and family friendly puppetry would never again be the same.
We’ve got a few of our favorites after the jump, but there are WAY more on On No They Didn’t’s LiveJournal. [...]

The Great Superhero Simpsonification

Welcome to the wonderful mad world of Dean T. Fraser. In his project titled Springfield Punx, he recreates popular heroes and villains in the spirit of The Simpsons. Some of my favorites include Master Chief from Halo, Iron Man, The Joker, and Spiderman. He also recently created a desktop wallpaper for the [...]

Geekadelphia Comic #1: The Night is Darkest Before the Dawn

The madness that is The Dark Knight has dominated the box-office since its release, and to many geeks worldwide, the movie experience was almost like Christmas morning. We just thought that there was no other topic worthy of our first installment of the bi-weekly Geekadelphia Comic.
I don’t really have a secret Titanic-themed lair [...]

A Creepier Joker

/film reports that the early concepts for Dark Knight’s Joker was intentionally creepier, and would probably haunt the dreams for most viewers. The images are from The Art of the Dark Knight, something I need to pick up after seeing these.
Admittedly, I think they went for the best choice with a more tame [...]

He Built His Own Tumbler

Yes, we know you like Iron Man a lot, and that you made a cardboard suit of armor to show it.
This, however, is another brand of cool. I bet when Bob Dullam walked out of the movie theater after seeing Batman Begins, he told his friends that he would build his very own Tumbler. [...]

Batman & Star Wars: Trading Places in the Lego Universe

What happens when two iconic cloaked-in-black characters, Darth Vader and Batman, leave their respective canons and trade places?
This.
Batman looks a little bit happier as a villain in Star Wars than Darth Vader does as a hero in Gotham, wouldn’t you say?

A Look at Gadgets from Adam West to Dark Knight

In case you missed this last week as the internet flooded with Dark Knight reviews, IGN’s Scott Cullara  provides us with side-by-side comparisons and screengrabs of all the wonderful gadgets that peppered Batman’s many on-screen appearances.
I enjoyed it thoroughly, as it was also accompanied by witty captions.  Silver medal goes to the screen-grab of ice-skates [...]

The Dark Knight is Awesome And All…

But come on IMDB people. I love Batman as much as the next geek, but this is ridiculous.

Batman Garage Door: Sweetest Door on South St

Well, The Dark Knight is finally out. And to celebrate, I’m posting up this awesome door I found here in Philadelphia. Last week, while walking down South St with some friends, I spotted this awesome bat symbol painted garage door at the Magic Garden. How did I never notice this before?
A couple more photos after [...]

Batman: The Diminishing Returns

If you click over to Portfolio.com, you can check out this fun graphic that details how Batman’s ROI (rate of return) has shrunk from over 600% in Tim Burton’s first Batman film to a loss over -14% for the legendarily horrible Batman & Robin.
Rumor has it that The Dark Knight will gross over 65% [...]
