Philly Tech Week Spotlight: The Hacktory Office Space Printer Smash [4/26]
Our buddies and friendly rivals, Technically Philly, are hosting a week long celebration to technology in our fine city at the end of April. And while Philly Tech Week is well over a month away, the entire Geekadelphia crew can’t wait. So every Monday leading up to that magical week, we’ll be spotlighting events that we’re particular psyched about.
First up? The Hacktory’s Office Space Printer Smash on Tuesday, April 26th.
In a move to “lighten things up a little for Philly Tech Week and finally give some printers the punishment they deserve” the Hacktory is providing “various implements of destruction” and an array of printers thanks to their sponsor, Nonprofit Technology Resources.
A re-enactment, but good enough.
These printers have to be disassembled for recycling anyway, so really, you’ll be helping out while unleashing some serious nerd rage.
The event is free and runs from 6pm to 8pm. Participants are welcome (and encouraged!) to dress as their favorite character from Office Space.
