South Fellini Studios, a collection of various DIY comic creators dedicated to the digital age of comics, are going to be hosting a gallery event at South Philly Comics, a great shop sitting in Passyunk Square, this Saturday, December 11th.

“This gallery is just one example of the many ways that web and retail can work together to ensure a successful future in the funny book business. The community is so much bigger and stronger than it’s ever been. It’s a fantastic time in history to be a geek.” – Oliver Assiran, owner of South Philly Comics.

About Eric: Eric spends most of his time writing, taking pictures, reading, and hanging out with his (somewhat famous) chinchilla Mittens and bunny Rory. He teaches writing and literature at some local Philadelphia colleges and works in publishing. He knows absolutely nothing about sports, and is proud of it.
