8static This Week: NYC Chiptuners Invade West Philadelphia

Chipocrite Tearing It Up @ 8static

This Saturday, a bunch of New York City chiptures have the honor of performing alongside Philadelphia’s own 8-bit rockstar, the ever-awesome Chipocrite, at this month’s 8static at Studio 34.

Artists include noteNdo, Knife City, and Graffiti Monsters, with visuals provided by Rosa Menkman.

As always, there will be a pre-show event at Studio 34. Usually the 8static crew whips together some sort of fun workshop or chiptuning tutorial. Keep an eye on their official website and/or Twitter feed for updates.

    We’ve screened the documentary before, but this time come out early to watch exclusive extras & clips (including a David Sugar video from Blip 2009) from 2 Player Productions’ Reformat The Planet (which will be on sale at 8static!)
