Yes you heard right, thanks to a great turn-out on our Zombieland Facebook Event Page and a mention on the Citypaper blog; the great folks at the Troc have decided give us some more space for our Zombieland event and opened up the downstairs area as well. If you haven’t marked your calendar yet the event is Monday February 8th. We are co-sponsoring it with the guys over at The Philly Zombie Crawl, and it looks to be truly epic.
You can also look forward to a Zombie Make-up contest with some great prizes courtesy of Brave New Worlds, Lionsgate Films and Screen Gems. The event is 21+(sorry) and only $3, that not only gets you in the door but also goes toward a drink. Arrive before 7pm (doors open at 6:30)and get a free beer and a bag of popcorn as well.
There may be some other surprises, because one thing we are passionate about on Geekadelphia is Zombies. We are looking to make this a great Movie Monday event!
