You know I really thought everything that could be done with the vampire genre had been done, that is until I saw the trailer for Daybreakers and that definitely changed my mind. Daybreakers tells the story of a world where a mysterious plague has turned almost the entire population of the planet into vampires. As the still-human population nears extinction, the vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before humankind become extinct. The film opens this Friday the 8th and stars Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe, and I honestly can’t wait to see this!

Twilight! ….Err no…New Moon! Ugh no…even with werepuppies… For favorite vampire movie I would have to say The Lost Boys. Rockin the 80′s like no other could.

Have to shamefully answer Twilight because vampires aren’t my usual movie fare, but Daybreakers looks awesome! That trailer hooked me.
“Perfect Creature”
Vampire fans, if you haven’t seen “Perfect Creature” I highly suggest you seek it out. It’s brilliant.
It has to be Van Helsing because of how they pulled all the classic horror plots together.
JR already took PERFECT CREATURE, so I’ll go with the old Hammer DRACULA, starring Christopher Lee, just for Lee’s performance. “Here, have a key to the house, Harker. Doesn’t matter. I can kill you by staring at you hard.”

I’m not eligible to win, because that would be unfair, but I just recently saw Thirst and thought it was pretty interesting (a different take on Vampires from the guy that brought us Old Boy)

my favorite would definitely be “Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles”, as it provides a different light on the whole vampirism mythology by focusing on the realities of being a vampire.
