This Sunday: MakePhilly Meeting @ University of the Arts

Ah, MakePhilly. Along with The Hacktory, Hive76, and a wealth of other small groups, these guys throw some wonderful events, project building workshops, and more.

This Sunday, October 25th, the MakePhilly folks are throwing their first event since August’s BBQ, and their first workshop in a while. This meeting will take place in the newly renovated Industrial Design space at the University of the Arts, on the 5th floor of Terra Hall. According to MakePhilly’s recent email blast, and their website, the meeting “will feature an open make, a guest speaker, and a whole new type of maker challenge.”

From building water bottle rockets to working with nanotechnology, the Make crew always have something cool going on. Keep checking their website in regards to the upcoming meeting. I’m sure it’s going to be awesome.
