Wow. Halloween is right around the corner, and I seriously can’t believe a year has already come and gone. Folks on the street still talk about last year’s epic celebration at Tattooed Mom. How the Aqua Teen Hunger Force bought beer for everyone in the bar, Sherm looked exactly like Alex Hillman, and Tim frightened several small children on South Street in his Stormtrooper armor. Between the drinks, the cool people, and the costume contest, everyone had a great time, and we’re set to recreate that night on Thursday, October 29th.

That’s right. On October 29th, Indyhalloween is back, and Geekadelphia is right on board with our pals from Indy Hall. This year, the throw down takes place at Sugar Mom’s in Old City. Last year we had a general costume contest with a couple of categories. This time around, there’s a theme… classic arcades and consoles.

Show up dressed as your favorite character from the era of classic video gaming. The Geekadelphia crew will be there, judging you (not so) silently. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Categories Include:

• Best Old School Character
• Best Modern Classic
• Most Obscure Video Game Character
• Best Team (for you Mario & Luigi’s out there)
• And More!

Specials for the night? You bet. $3 Burgers (including Veggie!), $1.50 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon until 11PM, and $2 mixed well-drinks from 10PM til Midnight.
