It’s time for 8static, Philly’s premiere 8-bit monthly concert and visual showcase, and this month’s show is extra special. They’re turning one.

Artists performing at 8static’s one year anniversary? Bud Melvin (Albuquerque, NM), Bit Shifter (NYC), Autoscroll (featuring members of Philly’s Animal Style & Cheap Dinosaurs), Nonfinite (Madison, WI) who will also be running a workshop pre-performance. No Carrier and vBlank will be providing visuals for the night.

What was that about a free workshop? That’s right, Nonfinite will be teaching a Gameboy modding workshop, for free.

Tickets are $8 at the door, $5 with the flier, which you can download here off the official 8static website. And as always, the show takes place at Studio 34 in West Philadelphia.

    Hey, I’m fairly new to the area, and not sure how to get around. Whats the easiest way to get to this part of town? I live on 15th and Pine. Any help would be great. Thanks!
