Pinball Machine Coasters & More: Undeniably Geeky Diagram Art

Ah, Sara Selepouchin. How I heart you and your wonderful diagram art. Typewriter coasters, home canning washcloths (made with my homeslice Marisa over at Food In Jars), bicycle over mitts… it’s really hard to find something of Sara’s that is unlike-able. This Philadelphia crafter has been creating adorable works for years now, and she’s now managed to create a piece that us Geekadelphians are going to be all-up-ons.
These days, she’s printing a new diagram… featuring pinball machines. Right now she has them available on coasters. Why pinball machines? Here’s her reason, direct from her website.
“Everyone loves pinball machines – there’s just something amazing about such a complex, colorful, blinking, beeping machine designed for no purpose other than to make people smile. Celebrate your love of the ultimate geekery with this set of coasters hand printed with my original diagram illustration of an old school pinball machine.
A perfect gift for your pinball loving mom, your favorite gamer, your boyfriend, or anyone who likes fun. Durable, modern and fantastic, they’re sure to protect your furniture from the perils of drips and condensation.”
I may have put “geekery” in bold myself. The coasters are made of heavy duty industrial wool felt, and are available in black, red, blue, light blue, brown, and green. The coasters will run you $16 for a set of four, and she’s got future plans to print these on additional items as well. No word as to if she’s down to print one on my bunny, but here’s hoping.
