However, the critical reception was so overwhelmingly negative, I went into the movie expecting to see the worst movie of all-time. It was far from that, and even had a few decent moments. I didn't find the first Transformers all that amazing, so I didn't find this one to be a huge drop in quality. Overall I'd say if you want to see the movie, see it in theaters for the fight scenes and Michael Bay-isms. I can't imagine sitting through two and half hours of this movie on DVD or cable.
