I had been perusing it in the comic book store and thought it looked good enough to succeed, so it might be a good idea to have a second copy. I spilled coffee on one copy later that day and loaned the other to my friend...whose house then burned down. Sigh…on a whim, I had purchased 2 copies of the first edition, first printing of the first issue of TMNT (as I recall, there had been only 10k copies of that printing).
