Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

“Pride and Prejudice and Zombies features the original text of Jane Austen’s beloved novel with all-new scenes of bone-crunching zombie action.”
That’s what it says on their publisher’s (Quirk Books) website, and it’s been causing a stir around the internet months before the actual release. There are also 20 fantastic new illustrations in the style of C.E. Brock (the original Pride and Prejudice illustrator) that will surely captivate new and old fans of the classic regency romance. The Quirk Books people are great, we met up with some of them at New York Comic Con just last weekend and found out that they operate out of Philadelphia (old city, to be precise).
You can expect to be a proud owner of this title on June 1st 2009. While the official website has no way of preordering it, Amazon does. Be sure to check out their other titles too… some of them are definately worth mentioning, like How To Tell if Your Boyfriend Is The Antichrist and Christopher Walken A to Z: The Man The Movies The Legend

What's it mean to be a geek? Wikipedia defines a geek as "a peculiar or otherwise odd person, especially one who is perceived to be overly intellectual" and describes "one with low social skills, regardless of intelligence."
