Samurai Vader

Eric and I are still in the process of putting together a gallery of New York Comic Con photos for you, but in the meantime I thought I’d share this quick shot from my phone.

This is a version of samurai Darth Vader, and it’s totally badass.  My only gripe was his use of a lightsaber – I would have preferred a Nodachi across the back or a standard Katana hanging from the belt in a red sheath, to complete the outfit.

    I thought about the red saya, but wearing a katana in public is a bit risky and even if I sealed it up, it wouldn’t look cool to not be able to pull it out.
