According to the product page, “with this gauntlet strapped to your arm there is no question you are the man in charge! … with an overall length of 17″, this monstrous handspike will not only protect your grip but will send your foes running in the other direction.”

Really? Who actually buys this sort of thing? Check out the product over on Budk, and be sure to scope out the awesome review posted by the Geekologie guys.

UPDATE: Word on the street that Brian over at Brave New Worlds Comics purchased a pair of these, and refuses to take them off. Several comics were damaged as he tried to read them, but you know what, sometimes that’s the price of looking cool.

What's it mean to be a geek? Wikipedia defines a geek as "a peculiar or otherwise odd person, especially one who is perceived to be overly intellectual" and describes "one with low social skills, regardless of intelligence." Geekadelphia is a bunch of geeks blogging (and drawing) about all-that-is-geek in the City of Brotherly Love and beyond.
