Obama Advertising to Denizens of Paradise City
No, not that Paradise City! The one you’ve been freewheeling around in since last January when Criterion games dropped the evergreen title in our collective lap? The one where they give you game expanding add-ons for free and then snub Gamestop by distributing the entire game on Playstation Network for half it’s original MSRP? The one named Burnout Paradise, in case you were wondering at this point.
Well anyway, it seems as though Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has been expanding his campaign ads all the way onto the billboards found in Paradise City, Burnout’s virtual playground. As you can clearly see above (in the image directly thiefed from Joystiq, natch), Obama’s face and vision of hope is now being projected to the many Vin Diesel’s and Paul Walker’s busily rushing passed. Though we can only imagine this is being brokered through IGA Worldwide, we’re not exactly sure who is paying who in order to get these billboards in-game. Has anyone spotted one in the wild? Which console were you playing when you did? Let us know in the comments below!
