Scan Toaster: Print Your Bread

Electrolux’s Scan Toaster, an awesome concept by Sung Bae Chang, allows users (toasters?) to plug the toaster into their computer, put in a slice of bread, and print.

Articles, snapshots, clever designs, you name it. Print ‘em on the Scan Toaster. Like the guys over at Boing Boing, I’m just really amazed that this thing will be able to toast bread on USB power. I could understand FireWire, but USB? That’s USB 3.0 stuff right there.

Am I going to buy one of these? You betcha. I’m totally going to print out the Virgin Mary on a bunch of these and hock ‘em on eBay. I’ll make millions.
