Holy dusty system, Batman — a reason to download and play something other than classic games on my Nintendo Wii! Oh wait, that’s only kind of true. Today, Capcom delivered Mega Man 9, an entirely new Mega Man game, done up in the traditional graphical style of many 8-bit blue bomber games that have hit the publisher’s consoles of past years.
For 1000 WIi Points ($10), you’ll find yourself face-to-face with eight (or more?) new bosses to tirelessly fight over and over until you destroy the unsurprisingly-evil Dr. Wiley. In case you still haven’t found a Wii (or made the right decision and haven’t purchased one intentionally), it’s heading to the Playstation Network on September 25th and Xbox Live Arcade on October 1st. We’ll have a review (hopefully!) up by Friday of the Wii version — “D-pad thumb syndrome” likely clutching our hands firmly by that point.

It‘s quiet in here! Why not leave a response?
