Our omnipotent overlords at Comcast dropped us (well, dropped everyone in the English-speaking world) a bit of advermail a few months ago that we just recently discovered while digging through the piles of solicitations that have gathered around the front door. Apparently, up until August 17th, if you signed up for the “Comcast Triple Play” (aka ‘The ‘Ol one, two, three’) and said “I want a Wii system along with my services”, you were as good as in.
Being that it’s Comcast and their evil ways are known far and wide, we’re doubting that even after you pay the initial $129.99 (for the first month) and sign up for a 24 month commitment (part of the “deal”), it’s easy to get your hands on that free Nintendo Wii. We’d jump on it ourselves and just give away the system, but it appears we’re a little late to the party. Any of you Geekadelphians take advantage of this opportunity? Anyone snubbed by the monolith and still waiting for your Wii?
