My Favorite Communist
Oh those crazy Russians! Between the hats and the paratrooper bears, they’ve really got a lot on their hands, intellectually speaking of course. In the glut of cultural glory that is Russian living, Google Earth recently discovered a message that had been cut into a stretch of trees in a remote region of Siberia (wait, there are non-remote parts of Siberia? It’s SIBERIA!): Lenin is 100! Originally created in 1970, the section of trees has clearly stood the test of time, er, at least 38 years of time.
Though we’d love to say we found this image ourselves just snooping around the remote regions of Russia on Google Earth, we’d be liars. Filty, filthy liars. Via EnglishRussia.
