The Fat Force Fund: A New Hope!

It’s always nice when our readers reach out to us and let us know what they’re up to. Geekadelphia reader and Star Wars fan Dan Williamson is currently trying to build up some goodwill from geeks across the internet for a charity race he’s running in. Personally, I’m just psyched to learn that someone from across the pond reads our website!

“A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… I used to be fit, healthy and had only one chin,” says Dan. Running the charity is his glorious attempt at not only slimming down and getting fit, but at raising money for a good cause. He’ll be starting with a 10K run in London at the end of this month.

Right now he’s trying to raise £1000 for the run, which in American dollars is probably something like $800,000, what with our economy and all.
