The people over at Pixelation ran a clever contest, challenging their users to design screenshots of modern games… on the Gameboy. Bioshock, Twilight Princess, Guitar Hero, Metal Gear Solid, Psychonauts, Final Fantasy XII… nothing was too sacred to be de-maked. I’ve got to say, Bioshock is definitely my favorite out of the bunch I’ve seen.
We’ve got a few in the gallery, however you should definitely visit the Pixelation forum to see them all in their entirety. They received over 45 entries! Have a look, and imagine what could have been on your old, green-screened Gameboy.
