My God. How could anyone even begin to cut into a cake this gorgeous?
One of the guys over at Laughing Squid, Mike Biven, surprised his brother with this beautiful birthday cake created in the shape of the Millennium Falcon. This being said, Mike is apparently the best brother ever. The cake was put created by Charm City Cakes, a famous bakery in Baltimore that some of you foodies might have seen onthe Food Network’s show Ace of Cakes.
The cake is set to be on a future episode, though it’s already been eaten.

According to comments on Mike Biven’s blog, the cake “was chocolate cherry flavor and very light and tasty. Some parts of it were made with a very dense rice krispie treat that appeared to be made with ground rice krispies and marshmallow.”
Bravo Mike. Bravo.

For my Groom’s cake I want to hire these guys to make me an AT-AT walker that makes this cake look like child’s play.
I will have fulfilled yet another geeky fantasy if that happens.
