Real Life Wall-E Visits Philadelphia!

So a real life Wall-E came to visit the Franklin Institute this week. I’m not sure how this wasn’t picked up by every media outlet EVER, but just LOOK at that thing. One of our readers (thanks so much Peetah!) sent in this tip along with an email detailing the event.
Wall-E is apparently making the rounds to science museums and he did a stopover here in Philadelphia yesterday at the Franklin (publicity around these events is oddly absent there’s nothing on the web to my knowledge, although I did find out the next stop was the Newseum in Washington DC).
There’s about a 7-10 minute scripted “show” with a host that interacts with Wall-E, asking questions such as “what do you like to collect” and “where have you been” and “you love Eve don’t you” giving a brief overview of the plot of the film.
Watch the video and enjoy. Seriously, I wish I could have been there, clapping my hands and laughing.

Wow, that is just so upsetting that I heard nothing about this event. I was at the Franklin to see ASIMO and the latest Star Wars exhibit. Thanks for posting the video, although I must say the scripting with the “host” was pretty bad. They should definitely hire me for their future programs. It would have been more fun to see Wall-E with a Roomba…
