Strange Star Wars Sand Sculpture

star_wars_sand.jpg

When it comes to sand sculptures, we’re pretty lucky here in Philadelphia. We have Franklin Square Park, where artists work, painstakingly, to maintain gorgeous sculptures in an enormous pile of sand. Check out these gorgeous shots of the King Tut sculpture during the Franklin’s Tut exhibit. 1, 2, 3.

So why couldn’t we have this awesome and incredibly inaccurate sand sculpture during the Star Wars exhibit? Hm? Come on, Darth Vader, hangin’ with Yoda and R2D2. We’d have even taken RJD2.
