Navy SEALs Visit Philadelphia: Schuylkill River Dolphin Nervous

navy_boat.jpg

This Monday, for Memorial Day, Navy SEALs will take over the Schuylkill and give Philadelphians a demonstration of their state-of-the-art craft. They’ll give people tours, hold a ceremony for fallen SEALs (they’ll be planting a memorial tree), share adventure stories with the public, and scare the hell out of the Schuylkill river dolphin.

For more information hit up the Schuylkill Banks website. I’ll be there with my camera and camcorder, getting some video of this. Cause really, it’s not everyday that a MK V Special Operations Craft speeds around the Schuylkill River. It’s gonna be cool.

Good morning. I’m the public affairs officer for the MK V group, and we just wanted to say thanks for the great showing yesterday. We hope you all enjoyed seeing the boats. For those of you who missed it and are interested, swing by Penn’s Landing through Thursday where we’ll be tied up and giving demonstrations.
Thanks!
