Mortal Kombat vs DC: The Poor Mans Marvel vs Capcom

Seriously, Marvel vs Capcom… one of the best fighting games ever to grace the arcade and console. Period. Try to debate with me on this one, just try. You can’t, cause you’re wrong, and I’m a stubborn jerk.

Apparently, Midway is working on a Mortal Kombat vs DC. This concept is ridiculously flawed, especially if they have Superman involved. WHO is going to beat Superman? No one, that’s who. Unless Midway plans on releasing a Doomsday character on the Mortal Kombat team, I’m sorry, I just don’t see anyone being able to beat someone who is indestructible. Will every character have a piece of kryptonite?

Here’s hoping for awesome playable characters like the Green Lantern and Aquaman. And by awesome, I mean inexplicably lame.

Hey! I was at the DC vs. MK panel at Comic-Con and they said one of the things that Superman IS susceptible to is magic, and because magic HAS to be involved if two realms merge, Superman will be weakened by the “magic in the air.”

They were pretty self-depreciating, saying it was a sort of thin plot element, but it worked for leveling the playing field.

This is just a test comment because the longer one I wrote last time disappeared.
