The Ten Most Badass Geeks in Film & TV: Where’s McLovin?!

I don’t know about you, but I love lists. The ten most this, the ten worst that… whatever. They never fail to make me laugh and get all nostalgic. Always Watching’s list of the ten most badass geeks from movies and television, is no exception.

They list all the greats, like Peter Parker, Neo from the Matrix, and more, but managed to forget a select few that we here at Geekadelphia definitely would have included. Seriously, where’s McLovin from Superbad?

But it’s okay, they’re taking suggestions! Stop by and leave them some in their comments. But don’t be a jerk about it like the massive Boondock-Saints-fanboy-tool we’ve quoted after the jump.

WHERE IS BOONDOCK SAINTS?

THE MOST BADASS GEEKS ARE OBVIOUSLY THE MAIN CHARACTERS FROM BOONDOCK SAINTS. FIGURE OUT SOME WAY TO MAKE THEM GEEKS AND PUT THEM ON THE LIST OR I WILL KILL YOU. BOONDOCK SAINTS HAS TO BE ON EVERY LIST EVER MADE.

When you said Boondock Saints, I instantly thought Huey from the Boondocks.

I feel that, as one of the Top 10 Most Badass Geeks NOT On TV or Film, I need to voice a concern today.

I was writing my daily shpiel for Phillyist, Can’t Miss This!, and trying to be as cheeky as possible about the utter douche-fest that is Meet Market Adeventures’ After-Work Spring Fling.

In the midst of writing, the Ghostbusters came to mind. Yes, the Ghostbusters. Hence my avidly reading your blog and blogs of your ilk.

    Ha. I said ilk.

Anyway, searching ‘Ghostbusters’ at Phillyist turned up nothing. Not a big deal. Not really a surprise.

But (and now we approach the point of what is easily my most rant-a-rific comment ever in LIFE), I hoped I could find something about the GBs (yeah, acronym, I went there) over here at Geekadelphia. So, I come over, pound the word into your search box and BAM.

    Nothing.

Where’s the love for the urban, proton-pack totin’, firehouse-dwellin’ cowboys of goul-wrangling?

But it’s okay. I still love you. In a platonic, fellow blogger of the Illadelph, not gay way. Unless, you know, well, nevermind.

I could have done this all with 2, maybe 3 sentences. God I love the internet.
