Random Geeky Philly Fact: Betty Brant From Philadelphia
We’ve all seen the Spider-Man movies and if you haven’t, well, you should be reading this website. Seriously, what’s wrong with you? Maybe you’ve even read the comics, collected cards, or kept a life size cut-out of Peter Parker in your bedroom for those long lonely nights… *ahem* but I digress.
While fiddling around on Wikipedia, I discovered an interesting factoid about our favorite Marvel series. Betty Brant, the receptionist at The Daily Bugle where Peter Parker works (played in the movie by Elizabeth Banks) happens to be a Philadelphia native!
