MakePhilly: This Sunday, April 20th

The folks at MakePhilly are up to their old tricks again, with another awesome meeting scheduled this Sunday, April 20th. It’s a bitter sweet get together, since it marks the last meeting for Josh Kopel, one of the co-founders and supreme builders of MakePhilly. He’ll be missed, and we at the Geek wish him lots of luck on his travels out West.
We’re not quite sure what he’s doing out there, but we’re totally game for making wild assumptions based on little-to-no facts. With that said, I hear he’s off pursuing his dream to become a gold miner.
The guest speaker at this MakePhilly event will be Pete Tridish, founder of Prometheus Radio, who have helped build over a dozen radio stations across the states and in Guatemala, Mexico, Kenya, Tanzania, but have yet to put one together on my roof. Come on Pete, get your game face on and stop on by. He’ll be giving lessons on how to build radio stations. Awesome.
As always the meet-up is at the University of the Arts at 3PM sharp. For more information, hit up the MakePhilly website.
