Cubicle Warfare: How To Make A Desktop Viking Catapult

capapult.jpg

We all have them. Coworkers who drive us crazy. What better way to get back at them, then sit in your cube, and ominously build a weapon of mass (cubicle) destruction?

Make your neighbor suffer your wrath using this handy how-to on making a desktop viking catapult. Launch paperclips, thumbtacks, pencils, whatever. Revenge and justice will be yours. Inspired by Boy Scout lashings (knots, not actual beatings, geez) and the books of William Gurstelle.

Needless to say, I’ll be hard at work on one of these during my lunch breaks, planning an all out attack on a certain someone from Slashfood.

I’ve had people as young as 7 making these, and others using six-foot staves instead of the bamboo.

    Thanks for featuring it.
