LEGO Releases Guide to Every Set

50 years and over 8000 sets later, LEGO is releasing this magnificent catalog.  It will initially be available in Germany for about $35 this May.  Fortunately for us, it will be available in North America later this year (or sooner via eBay for those of us that like to pay 300% of the retail price).

The guide breaks up the sets into chapters according to year, and rates them on a scale of 1-6 bricks according to their rarity.

I guess it’s not really news to say that I’m sold on this, because you can probably guess that I’m a sucker for anything that lets me relive my childhood.
