Tekken The Movie: From The Director Of Free Willy 2

Dwight Little, the brilliant visionary behind such films as Free Willy II: The Adventure Home and Anaconda II: The Hunt For The Blood Orchid, will be helming the film adaptation of the hit video game series, Tekken. Unfortunately, this isn’t a sequel, so there won’t be a long, unnecessary addition to the title.

I’m also psyched that writers Alan McElroy (Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever, The Marine) and Michael Colleary (Firehouse Dog) will be penning the screenplay.

And I’m speechless about the casting. Luke Goss of the 80′s Britpop band Bros as the lead?

This is going to sweep the Oscars in 2009. No doubt about it. Midnight showing at The Ritz, anyone? Let’s go.
