Bioshock Movie: Won’t Show at Ritz

Bioshock Movie: Won’t Show at Ritz

Rumors are circulating about a Bioshock movie adaptation. We’re excited, even though we’ll have to trek all the way up to The Bridge to see the thing when it comes out, cause Lord knows this won’t show at The Ritz in Old City.

It’s a shame that movies based on video games always get such a bad rap. It’s understandable, what with the plethora of films by Uwe Boll ruining the genre (ie: House Of The Dead, Alone in The Dark, Bloodrayne).

Here’s hoping it gets the treatment it deserves, such as Christopher Gans’ brilliant adaptation of the Silent Hill franchise. If you’ve never seen the Silent Hill film, add it to your Netflix. It won’t disappoint.

Maybe I missed something. Why won’t the Bioshock movie show at the Ritz?

Frankly I’d like to see a successful indie take on a video game. And on the topic of Netflix and movies inspired by video games, I just added Street Fighter to my queue….please don’t judge me.

We won’t judge. Especially with the NEW Street Fighter movie coming out. It’s important to know your history.
