Rearview Bike Monitor

Here in Philly, we love our bicycles. We have all kinds of races, events like Bike Philly, and a dedicated community of bike messengers. However, you’re always hearing nightmare stories about cyclists getting in accidents here in Philadelphia, mostly due to careless drivers and even pedestrians.
Cerevellum has produced a rearview monitor for cyclists. Not a mirror. A monitor. Sporting a 3.5 inch screen, a four hour battery, 32mb of storage, and four USB ports, the device will run your cyclist $200 once it hits production. It’ll also have modules that connect to the USB ports, like a heart rate monitor.
I suppose its a nifty gadget for suburban biking or hitting up the trails in Fairmount Park, but definitely not a city gadget.
