Who doesn’t love a good LOLcat? It’s one of the few online trends I hope never ends. Check out this sweet Craigslist ad for an apartment here in Philadelphia, written in LOLcat. Full ad after the jump, in case it gets taken down.

Nintendo Collages Should Inspire Mural Ideas

Whenever I see the various murals that dot the Philadelphia landscape, I always wonder how they come up with their ideas. The Mural Arts Program here in Philly produces some gorgeous work with the help of talented artists through out the region. I think they should hire Chris Lange, an artist from out of Washington [...]

Don’t Glaze Me Bro!

A reader over at Boing Boing created this brilliant t-shirt after a visit to their local donut shop.
Maybe Friendly Donuts in Philadelphia wouldn’t have gone out of business if they had this sort of merchandising behind them. Well, that and some concept of the English language. I mean, check out this photo of the Friendly [...]

Santa Arrested By Storm Troopers: Christmas Canceled

An army of Imperial Stormtroopers burst into Santa’s Factory, and, according to Gizmodo, “killed an undetermined number of elves, arrested the owner and confiscated his sled. Joe Kwazansky, local spokesman for the Evil Galactic Empire in Los Angeles, appeared in a press conference this morning confirming the rumors of an Imperial takeover of Christmas’ celebrations.”

Craigslist Find: Medal of Honor Themed Dell

I play on Craigslist. A lot. And during my adventures on Philly’s Craigslist, I sometimes find some seriously sweet gear. Here’s one.
A Medal of Honor: Heroes themed Dell desktop. Who knew! It’s a little overpriced for my tastes, considering it’s a PC. I emailed the seller, trying to barter him down to $5 and a [...]

Buy New York Autumn Leaves?

Armon Experimental, who you might remember from the Brush & Rinse Toothbrush, are offering up all their products packed in freshly fallen NYC Autumn leaves. But don’t worry, in case you just wanted a box of ‘em, you can order them separately for $7.99.
Come on Philly, we totally pwn the hell out of New York [...]

Flux Capacitor Replica: Listen Up PhillyCarShare!

Things From Another World (TFAW) are producing some amazing Flux Capacitor replicas, complete with flashing lights. They look REALLY good and are pretty pricey at $220, but can you really put a price on being able to say “Roads? Where we’re going we don’t need roads” when you’re out with your friends? No. No you [...]

Cthulhu Santa

There are a lot of places here in Philly where you can spot Santa. You can hit up The Gallery, take a trip to King of Prussia, or ride the carousel with him at Franklin Square.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to find Cthulhu Santa anywhere in Philly. But you can find him here.
And no, I [...]

Pop The Question with Space Invader Rings

Recently, one of the Geekadelphia bloggers (not me) got himself a fiancé. She’s pretty cool, I think he should keep her.
I’m thinking I’ll give my girlfriend one of these sweet Space Invader rings. They’re made of silver by Toy Me Milano, who does a lot of cool looking work. Take a look, and hopefully I’ll [...]

Cyrkam Airtös: Weird Name, Fun Game

It’s Wednesday! If you haven’t lost your mind yet, check out Cyrkam Airtös, a game where you catch a piece of crumbled paper, and have to shoot it into a basket. Sounds easy, right? Good luck.
