Nintendo Collages Should Inspire Mural Ideas

Nintendo Collages Inspire Mural Ideas

Whenever I see the various murals that dot the Philadelphia landscape, I always wonder how they come up with their ideas. The Mural Arts Program here in Philly produces some gorgeous work with the help of talented artists through out the region. I think they should hire Chris Lange, an artist from out of Washington DC to do one of his famous Nintendo collages.

These collages, which can be purchased at his Etsy shop, are made out of old Nintendo Power magazines. Amazing.

Let’s give him some paint, and see what he can do. More photos after the jump.

If I worked in the artistic side instead of the administrative one here at MAP, I could see what I could do, but since I don’t I can’t. O’well.

[...] We were really excited when we saw Chris Lange’s massive cubicle collages, so much that we wanted them as murals here in Philadelphia. [...]
