Nintendo Wii Stolen: Philly Shows Some Love

You might have heard the news already, but a Nintendo Wii was recently stolen from a senior citizens home out in Washington, the Lilac Retirement Community home out in Spokane to be specific, where the elderly scrimped and saved, even selling some old recipe books, so they could save enough money to buy one for themselves.
After a month, it was stolen. Seniors said they like playing the Wii because “it was fun and kept them active”.
The guys over at GoNintendo already sent over a Wii (I called the senior home) and well, we’re going to be sending some games over. If you’re interested in contributing, drop us an email, or leave a note in the comments.

Well, as of the 19th, the Lilac Plaza received the Wii console that we sent to them, from our family, personally. We sent them a console, additional pair of controllers, memory card, and 2 year replacement plan for their convenience, all totally about $400.
They said as of then, they hadn’t received anything else, but have been getting calls like there’s no tomorrow about it, so they are once again in heaven and playing the video game console.
You just don’t mess with the elderly!
