Kid Covers Airport in Foam, LOLs All Around

Foam Accident Philadelphia

Here in Philadelphia, December 8th was family day at Agusta Aerospace. Families gathered for a wonderful day full of fun inside a helicopter hanger… then, everything went wrong.

An employee’s child hit a “don’t hit button unless in an emergency” button, which said precisely that on the button. This launched a fire suppression system, filling the hanger up with foam. Makes me think of that History Erase Button from Ren & Stimpy, only way funnier.

Check out the video of the aftermath on 6ABC.com. That stuff that looks like snow? Yeah, foam.

I can’t take credit for this, but it’s a poignant comment nonetheless. Pulled from the 6ABC comments section:

“Normally, if you press a button like that, you immediately realize the mistake you made. I’m thinking of a fire alarm in elementary school. If I were this kid, I would have seen the results and said to myself, ‘That was absolutely the correct decision; I would do it again in a heartbeat.’ ” –dinobuddy
